This antenna simply sticks to the inside of your windscreen. It’s a simple easy to install antenna and  is useful if you want to use the antenna coupler on your Carcomm or Strike Alpha cradle and don’t want to go to the trouble or expense of a larger antenna. Because this antenna is placed higher on the windscreen than the phone in its cradle, it is in a better position to maximise available reception than the phone by itself in the cradle.

The CIGM-918 has a 2.5 m cable with FME-female connector that screws straight into the antenna coupler connector on your Carcomm, Strike Alpha or Bury cradle.

To install, clean the area on the inside of the windscreen (the higher the better) where the antenna will be placed, using the included Carcomm Surface Cleaner; make sure the distance between the cradle and the antenna is not too far to accommodate the 2.5m cable length. Then simply peel off the backing paper on the adhesive side of the antenna and attach the antenna to the windscreen.
